GuardForce Academy takes pride in providing top notch security training that meets the Oregon DPSST requirements to be certified as a Security Officer in Oregon. What we do every day matters!
Unarmed Basic Security Officer Course – 14 Hr
Offering an in person 14 HR Unarmed Basic Security Officer Training as well as the biennial 4 HR refresher course. This course qualifies toward certification by Oregon’s DPSST for initial applicants and those wishing to obtain recertification as Unarmed Security Officers. These courses are all conducted in the classroom setting. Each student must be 18+ years of age to attend this class.
Armed Upgrade Security Officer Course – 24 Hr
Offering an in person 24 HR Armed Security upgrade course that satisfies the DPSST requirements for certification as an armed Security Officer, as well as the 4 HR annual recertification course required by DPSST. These courses will be a blend of classroom and range time. Each student must be 21+ years of age in order to attend this class.
